Level up your forum.
For several years, we've been building a new forum platform in PHP 5. Based upon the popular SMF, which we used to develop for (see the FAQ for more), Wedge allows you to create and maintain message boards with a modern twist. Blogs, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, object programming, UTF8, CSS pre-parsing, improved security, drafts, easier theming and modding? Will do! We think that once it's released, you'll agree that Wedge is the best free forum software available.
Read the full feature list. With dozens of new features, including the exclusive Aeva Media gallery system, Wedge puts control back into your hands. When is it coming out? When it's ready. Try the beta version if you're not scared.
Stay tuned and subscribe to our blog's RSS feed to make sure not to miss it!

November 6th, 2016, 11:05 AM Actions…Nao » @Zeyad_Ahmed> aren't you worried smf will catch up with Wedge within 10 years though? ;)
November 4th, 2016, 07:27 AM Actions…Zeyad_Ahmed » @Nao> ok i used wedge in my all forums i hope it popularize it :D
November 1st, 2016, 11:39 AM Actions…Nao » @Zeyad_Ahmed> let's be honest, it won't become popular with that. it'll become popular if popular forums start using it. period.
October 27th, 2016, 08:19 PM Actions…Zeyad_Ahmed » @CerealGuy> ok maybe i agree with you but think maybe one search about forum software in his mother language and he maybe see wedge i consider that board as a point for starting popularize in Wedge.
October 26th, 2016, 02:07 AM Actions…CerealGuy » @Zeyad_Ahmed> Not my decision, but I don't really think that a multilanguage board makes sense. I could think of maybe 5 people who would use it. Of course not in the same language.
October 22nd, 2016, 01:52 PM Actions…Zeyad_Ahmed » Nao will you make the multilanguage board?
October 19th, 2016, 04:03 PM Actions…Nao » @Zeyad_Ahmed> Well... Yes, Wedge can use the money. If I got paid for it I could keep it up to date as needed.
October 13th, 2016, 10:27 PM Actions…Zeyad_Ahmed » @Nao> Yea i agree with you , they like SMF for some appearance and they think it fully fixed but from my view wedge is the best still the best , wedge doesnt need money he need care and some popularize and i want to support it as i can :)
October 8th, 2016, 08:48 AM Actions…Nao » @Zeyad_Ahmed> But they're not wrong in liking SMF. They just are too scared to try out alternatives, same for everyone. If it ain't broken, don't fix it. But I built Wedge to fix SMF, so they just don't know they want it fixed. ;)
Public area
The Pub

This is the public board, where you can discuss the Wedge project and insult its authors. You can also discuss garlic sausage in here, but really it's not the point.

Note: while this can be considered the 'official documentation' for Wedge, it is also unfinished. Let's all be thankful that what's there is there, and hope someone will go forward and offer to help!
